"Celebrating our Past, Passing on our Tradition"

Welcome to the Home Page for our "60 for 60" Fundraiser

Update: We've reached our goal of $60,000! Thank you to the generosity of our many donors. Your prayers, support, and generosity have made our celebration a huge success. We will also use this page to update you on the status of the projects as they are fulfilled.

Update 2 (12/21/2022): We have exceeded our goal, and as of now we estimate to have raised over $90,000 dollars. Thank you! I'm also happy to announce that our new piano may very well be here in time for Christmas--well ahead of schedule!

Immaculate Conception has been in the Norwood Park neighborhood for nearly 120 years. It has witnessed numerous changes and experienced enormous growth. The Catholic Church likewise, has grown tremendously on the Northwest Side with numerous parishes, robust schools, and a proud tradition born of faith.

Our current church, featured prominently on Harlem and Talcott, is the 4th church on our campus. It is now the longest standing church in the history of our parish.

Our fundraiser seeks to update various aspects of our Weekend Experience (piano, furniture, and brass). It also looks to accentuate our history with a beautification project of our school's landscaping off of Talcott Avenue, which is the oldest standing part of campus today, dating back nearly 100 years!

Your donations will assist in completing the project in time for the anniversary of our church's dedication in May 2023.

December 8th, 1962 marked the first Mass ever celebrated in our church. December 8th, 2022 will be the final day of our "60 for 60" fundraiser, which is scheduled to conclude with a fitting celebration dedicated to our patroness, the Blessed Virgin Mary.
